DESCRIPTION:Tim will be talking about the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and his involvement helping the young people cope by learning the skills of sailing and working together. \nThe Trust is for 8-17 and 18-24 year-olds\, and is free to anyone who has been treated for cancer. Their free four-day sailing adventures can be transformational. But whether you get afloat on the Isle of Wight or in Scotland\, sailing is only the start. \nInspiring brighter futures goes beyond a one-off experience. The Trust’s free Return Trips for under 18s and 18+ years provide the continued support many young people need living through and beyond cancer\, and there’s a chance for siblings of young people who are being or have been treated for cancer to enjoy an adventure of their own. \n\nDon’t forget the Restaurant is open so there will be time for a meal before the talk. Make an evening of it. \n\n \n
