SUMMARY:Cross Channel Cruise 2026
DESCRIPTION:This cruise is individually booked to suit the participant and therefore has no booked schedule. It has been left to the members that book onto this cruise to sort our there own itinery. \nGuernsey is one destination and is well known for beach resorts like Cobo Bay and the scenery of its coastal cliffs. Castle Cornet\, a 13th-century harbour fortification in the capital of St. Peter Port\, now contains history and military museums. Hauteville House is the lavish former home of French writer\, Victor Hugo. From St. Peter Port you can go island-hopping to Herme & Sark and go on outdoor adventures on both. There are a multitude of eateries\, from beachside kiosks and cafés to local pubs and award-winning restaurants. You can delve into the past to explore the islands heritage on guided walks or in museums. Take a bus ride around the coastline or hike along miles of cliff paths with views. It’s wonderful to feel the sand between your toes on one of the many unspoilt beaches and take a dip in the crystal clear waters. \nYou might want to look HERE to see more of this beautiful island \nSat 5th – Sun 14th  June\, (9 Nights) \nPlease Note: There will need to be an all boats meeting before members embark on this adventure\, to discuss destinations\, leaving times\, tides and sea conditions. The neccessary paperwork will also need to sorted out well before set off.\nAlternative Arrangements: \nWe can adjust the booking for those skippers that may not be able to do the whole trip. If you let us know the times/days you can attend then we can make the neccessary arrangements with the Marina. Please state this in the ‘Requirements’ box on the booking form.\n\nPlease book this cruise and any others you would like to participate in on this booking form link \nPLEASE NOTE: We are now putting a Cut-Off point 1 week before the departure date for all this year’s bookings to help with notifying the marinas and venues. \nOnce your Booking Form has been sent you will immediately receive a confirmation/payment email from our new booking system with the PYCCS bank account details into which you should pay your fees for this cruise. SUMMARY:Lymington & Beaulieu Cruise 2026
DESCRIPTION:Lymington is one of our favourite venues for cruising. There are plenty of eateries\, a great town with many interesting shops\, and even 2 chandlers. \nWe will be on the Lymington Harbour’s Dan Bran pontoon and the use of Lymington Sailing Club’s facilities and bar.  We will also have our usual pontoon party\, which is a great favourite with all our participating members. \nThis historic\, coastal town offers plenty for the visitors. The colourful and vibrant town is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history\, and with so much to see and do. Learn about the rich heritage of the town\, enjoy some retail therapy\, treat yourself to delicious food and drink and relax by the water. \nMuch of the architecture you see today in Lymington is Georgian and Victorian. The High Street\, which looks predominantly Georgian\, is in fact made up of an eclectic mix of Georgian\, Victorian\, Art Deco with some traces of Medieval architecture. \nFriday 19th – Sunday 21st June (2 nights). \n  \nBucklers Hard at Beaulieu is such a lovely place to stay with walks up the river to the picturesque village of Beaulieu and the wonderful history of Bucklers Hard with its museum and heritage shipwrights school\, or you can wander up the river in your dinghy to see the sights from a different angle. \nSunday 21st – Tuesday 23rd June (2 nights). \nAlternative Arrangements: \nWe can adjust the booking for those skippers that may not be able to do the whole trip. If you let us know the times/days you can attend then we can make the neccessary arrangements with the Marina. Please state this in the ‘Requirements’ box on the booking form. \n\nPlease book this cruise and any others you would like to participate in on this booking form link. \nA fee of £5 is charged to go towards our well known Pontoon Party \nPLEASE NOTE: We are now putting a Cut-Off point 1 week before the departure date for all this year’s bookings to help with notifying the marinas and venues. \nOnce your Booking Form has been sent you will immediately receive a confirmation/payment email from our new booking system with the PYCCS bank account details into which you should pay your fees for this cruise. SUMMARY:West Country Cruise 20026
DESCRIPTION:This cruise is individually booked to suit the participant and therefore has no booked schedule. It has been left to the members that book onto this cruise to sort our there own itinery. This is a change from the usual way we do cruises to allow more flexibility for longer distance cruising members to adjust their venue choices to suit the conditions and weather without having a restricting itinery. \nPossible venues could be: \nTorquay\, where there are many shops\, restaurants and interesting places within easy walking distance. You also have the harbour area with lots of galleries\, eateries and interesting places too. In the past we have booked a meal at the Torquay Yacht Club just up the hill from the harbour oposite the Living Coasts Aviary. At the Aviary you can walk around the penguin area looking at the different species. They were happy in their habitats. They are in a very large kind of enclosure where they are free to go wherever they want. A few walk among the visitors. There were other types of birds at this attraction which were free to fly around. There were also otters\, seals\, fish\, sea horses and bugs to look at. Confirmed booked dates: \n———————————————————————————————————————————————————————– \nPlymouth\, berthing in the Queen Anne Battery Marina under Plymouth Hoe\, where there is the Waypoint Bar and Bistro on site with a good menu if you dont fancy wandering off too far on your first evening. The Barbican is only a short walk from the marina with all it’s marvellous shops\, eateries and galleries if you fancy a walk after the sail down from Brixham. The Royal Western Yacht Club is right next door\, and the Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club is a short walk across Sutton Harbour Lock\, so you will be really spoilt for places to eat.  The city is within walking distance of the marina\, and there’s the The National Marine Aquarium just outside the marina on the edge of Sutton Harbour. There is also some amazing historical and modern places to visit\, so you won’t be bored with this venue. Confirmed booked dates: \n————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————– \nDartmouth\, This beautiful town of Dartmouth situated on the mouth of the River Dart is one of South Devon’s most popular and enchanting towns. With its charming historic streets\, scenic river location and surrounded by South Devon countryside you have to go a long way to find a town as pretty. The beauty of the landscape\, the historical buildings\, and the exceptional local produce all make Dartmouth the perfect holiday destination. \n———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— \n \nBrixham\,  isn’t just about fishing. It’s still one of the busiest fishing ports in the UK and a working town\, but it’s also a place where you can discover a range of arts and culture\, excellent local food and some unique attractions. Brixham attracts visitors for its character\, charm and combination of tradition and an enthusiasm for contemporary styles.  If you like art\, you’ll love Brixham. The town has a great range of art galleries featuring local and visiting artists. You can visit the artists’ corner on the Strand to see artists working\, if the weather permits. Brixham museum is packed with interesting exhibits from the town’s cultural and maritime heritage. \n———————————————————————————————————————————————————————– \nSalcombe\, The beautiful coastal town of Salcombe sits on the banks of the Kingsbridge Estuary making it one of the prettiest towns in South Devon. Salcombe is a great base for holiday spent messing about on the water or at the water’s edge\, or just for a day trip – either way you will fall in love with this beautiful town. \n———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— \n \nFalmouth\, Falmouth is famous for its harbour. SUMMARY:Bembridge\, Chichester & Yarmouth Cruise 2026
DESCRIPTION:Bembridge is our first port of call and is a popular destination with the Cruising Group \nThe Harbour is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and nearby Brading Marshes are home to the first RSPB site on the Island. There are many picturesque walks in and around the area\, historic sites to visit\, beautiful beaches to enjoy and a busy Harbour where there’s always something to watch. The villages of Bembridge and St Helens offer a rich variety of shops\, restaurants and pubs and are well worth exploring. Visit our Local Information section for more details. \nFriday 17th – Sunday 19th July (2 nights) \n——————————————————————————————————————————————————- \nChichester is our second stop. This is a venue we have often talked about visiting\, but this time we are going!! We are staying in the Chichester marina\, surrounded by the natural beauty of Chichester Harbour\, Chichester Marina’s premium facilities and relaxed environment give it a special character\, making it a worthy recipient of the THYA five gold anchor award. \nEnjoy the calm of  hidden creeks and quiet anchorages to explore. The harbour provides wonderful cruising grounds\, enjoy the stunning sandy beaches of East Head\, or venture further out to the waters of the Solent. \nChichester Marina’s newly refurbished Boat House Café and restaurant serves locally sourced seasonal menus seven days a week\, while Chichester Yacht Club also provides a warm welcome with a bar\, restaurant and regular social events. Perfect for bird watchers\, discover wildlife along The Salterns Way\, or follow the canal path to the historic city of Chichester. \nSunday 19th – Wednesday 22nd July (3 nights) \n————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————– \nLast stop is Yarmouth Harbour. Yarmouth is the second smallest town in Great Britain\, and from its lovely harbour to its ancient church and picturesque pier\, this West Wight town has something for everyone. \nThere are plenty of things to do\, some great pubs\, cafes and restaurants\, and lots of super attractions in the area\, and great walks around the local area. Yarmouth is a very special place and many love to visit it. \nWednesdayday 22nd – Thursday 23rd July (1 night) \n——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— \nAlternative Arrangements: \nWe can adjust the booking for those skippers that may not be able to do the whole trip. If you let us know the times/days you can attend then we can make the neccessary arrangements with the Harbour Office. Please state this in the ‘Requirements’ box on the booking form \n\nPlease book this cruise and any others you would like to participate in on this booking form link \nPLEASE NOTE: We are now putting a Cut-Off point 1 week before the departure date for all this year’s bookings to help with notifying the marinas and venues. \nOnce your Booking Form has been sent you will immediately receive a confirmation/payment email from our new booking system with the PYCCS bank account details into which you should pay your fees for this cruise.
