The Poole Yacht Club bar and restaurant are open most days for members, providing a relaxed and welcoming vibe both on and off the water.
Bar Facilities
Our bar features an extensive selection of beverages, including:
- A variety of lagers and ales, with a rotating guest ale introduced regularly to ensure new tastes are always available.
- A carefully curated wine list, comprising both red, white and rosé wines to complement every occasion.
- A selection of premium spirits and liqueurs.
- A range of soft drinks, juices and mixers.
All members enjoy a 10 % discount on food and drink purchases when presenting their valid membership card at the point of sale.
Evening Dining
Throughout the sailing season (April–September), and on evenings when club racing, youth training or social sailing are underway (Monday–Thursday), our “Race Food” menu is available from 18:00 to 20:00. Designed for quick, wholesome nourishment at competitive prices, typical offerings include:
- Curry of the day (meat and vegetarian options)
- Gourmet burgers with chips
- Classic fish and chips
- Homemade lasagne
A children’s menu and vegetarian alternatives are always offered.
On Friday evenings between May and September, we host an al fresco barbecue on the terrace. Please check the club’s noticeboard or website for exact dates and times.
During the winter months (October–March), dinner service is provided on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Menus vary in line with club events and chef specials; however, a selection of hot dishes and light bites is always available.
Lunchtime Service
Our restaurant serves a core menu at lunchtimes every day the club is open, featuring:
- Sandwiches and salads prepared to order
- Hearty soups with freshly baked bread
- Hot mains such as pie of the day or pasta specials
In addition, seasonal specials change weekly and utilise the freshest local ingredients. Please enquire at the bar or view the specials board for current offerings.
Sunday Carvery
Every Sunday, year‑round, we present a traditional carvery from 12:30 to 15:00. The carvery typically includes:
- A choice of roast meats
- A vegetarian nut roast alternative
- A selection of seasonal vegetables
- Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and all the trimmings
