The Poole Yacht Club is one of the premier yacht clubs along the South Coast, and we welcome new members throughout the year.
Our facilities include a 378-berth marina, 41 swinging moorings, and a 250-space dinghy park. We provide both racing and social sailing opportunities for cruisers and dinghies in a friendly, welcoming environment. Situated next to Poole’s ferry terminal, our clubhouse boasts breathtaking views over the harbour and hosts a variety of social and sailing events throughout the year. The club is led by its members, with a strong ethos of volunteering.
Key Activities and Programs:
- Comprehensive Racing Programme: Full dinghy and cruiser racing schedule, with events taking place several times a week.
- Social Cruising Programme: Available from April to October.
- Social Sailing: Organised twice a week from May to September.
- Dinghy Hire: Access to Hartley 15s, Fusions, Optimists, and SUPs for hire.
- RYA Accredited Training: High-quality training for children of all levels.
- Social Events: A variety of events held throughout the year.
