Membership Fees for new members
A one-time membership joining fee of £250.00 is applicable for Full Members over 31 years old and Associate Members.

Is there a joining fee?
Yes. A £250 joining fee applies to Full Members and Associates over the age of 31. (Associates under 31 do not pay a joining fee.)
Can I upgrade my membership later?
Yes! You can upgrade at any time. Fees are prorated, so you only pay the difference for the rest of the year.
Are there any credits included with membership?
Yes. Members receive a Levy credit linked to their membership level to be used on Bar & Catering (B&C) facilities.
Do Associate Members under 31 pay a joining fee?
No. Associates aged 31 or under are exempt from the £250 joining fee
Are membership fees refundable if I resign?
Membership fees are non-refundable once paid. However, in exceptional circumstances, applications for partial refunds may be considered by the management committee.
Can I suspend my membership for a period of time?
Suspensions are not automatically available. Requests for temporary suspension due to health, relocation, or personal circumstances must be submitted in writing to the office for committee approval.
How are renewal fees charged?
Annual membership subscriptions are invoiced in October each year. Payment is due within the specified deadline stated on your invoice.
Can I move from Associate to Full Membership?
Yes. Associates can apply to become Full Members. This includes an interview process to confirm eligibility.
Can Junior or Youth Members become Full Members later?
Yes!
Youth Members (16–23, up to 25 by approval) build up “years” that count towards berthing rights when they move to Full Membership.
Juniors (8–15) can move into Youth Membership as they grow.
