The Poole Yacht Club thrives thanks to the dedication and generosity of its skilled and community-focused members.
If you’re looking to connect with like-minded individuals and make a meaningful contribution as part of our team, we warmly encourage you to get involved. Volunteer application forms are conveniently available below.
Volunteers are vital to the seamless operation of our events, with opportunities to assist in various aspects of club life. These include regular roles such as Race Hut and RIB team support for our Racing Series, Trophy races, and Open events. On-shore volunteers are also essential for larger occasions, including National Championships and our annual Club Regatta.
To join, fill out and send in a Volunteer Form to share your availability and interests with our team.
Night watch Volunteering
If you are keen to get involved as a volunteer for the Night Watch or need guidance on how to begin, we encourage you to reach out. You can send an email to nightwatch@pooleyc.co.uk for more details or assistance. Alternatively, feel free to have a chat with Ian directly at the Haven office, who will be happy to provide all the information and support you need.
Dutyman
DutyMan is a simple platform to manage duties online. Easily check your rota, swap duties, or volunteer for open slots. Optional email reminders help you stay on track, ensuring you don’t miss commitments. Login details are sent automatically if you’ve provided an email address. If you arrange duty swaps elsewhere, ensure the DutyMan platform is updated to stay accurate. Need an account? Email dutyman@pooleyc.co.uk, and we’ll help you get started.
The Club sincerely thanks all the individuals who generously dedicate their time to volunteering. Your contributions are crucial to the success of our extensive and celebrated racing calendar.
